This module is the tool used by students or employees to access the Virtual Campus and interact with the University and Faculty members. The student will be able to:

• Have access to:

o His subject development plan, courses schedules and matter according to his courses.
o Course content and description.
o Subjects, schedule and sequences between each course.

• Registration in subjects/courses according to the specific sequence of each career or position.
• Attendance to classes, courses and seminars.
• Exams and evaluations of all type.

o Exams are formed aleatory based on the questions data base
o Different types of questions

 Multiple choice
 Correlational
 True or False
 Open questions to be answer through an answer in the browser or uploading a file.

• Interact with his professors in the counseling forums

The student selects his classes for the day and gets access to the virtual classroom and the multimedia content. The classes could be:

• Self taught

o With electronic reading material supported by multimedia materials (animation and sound) and video on-demand (pre-recorded videos).

• Interactive

o Subject to a formal Schedule, the student has the opportunity of on-line interaction with the professor.
o The class consists of material presented by the professor and the live video of the professor or classroom.
o Faculty members can select different tools to interact with the students:

• Through a chatting tool controlled by the professor.
• Shared whiteboard or electronic board
• Shared applications
• File transfers

• Students are evaluated through our exam generation system.
• Each subject or Topic can have exams per chapter or a global exam.
• All exams are made up of a set of questions classified per subject or concept to be evaluated.
• Each question includes a set of correct and incorrect answers and may have different weights.
• All tests are generated in a random manner to make sure all are different.
• Our test engine is based in:
o Random selection of question, tests should not have the same questions*
o Questions should not have the same answers*
• When students do no t finish their test in one session, the unanswered questions will be regenerated.
